Baked Apple

Baked apples taste like dessert but have the same vitamins and fiber as fresh apples. Win-win!

Recipe: Use a pairing knife to cut a deep hole into the apple to remove the core. You can opt to fill this with cinnamon/butter/nuts or just leave as is. In a baking dish, pour about a quarter cup of water and place the apples on the dish. bake for 40 min or until the apple is tender when you poke with a fork. Enjoy
